Apartment Complex Leasing Office, Theater, Fitness Center, Pool Area Renovation & Reconstruction
Sussex At Kingstowne Apartments · Alexandria, VA
Sussex At Kingstowne Apartments in Alexandria, VA realized their current residents were not using the clubhouse & fitness center to their capacity in its current state which also affected the ability to attract new residents. To combat this, Sussex tapped Omega Contracting to upgrade their image and renovate the underutilized space and expand their fitness center. In addition, Omega renovated & upgraded the leasing office, kitchenette, movie theater, and pool area.
The major apartment renovation was to convert the rarely used two-story racquetball court into a multi-story recreation area by constructing a steal beamed subfloor with a staircase and access hallway to the second-floor theater. Â This addition gave Sussex At Kingstowne a spin bike room, an additional exercise area, as well as another motivating feature for potential new residents.
Apartment Complex Amenity Center Renovation
The Cottages On Port Republic Apartment Complex · Harrisonburg, Virginia
The Cottages On Port Republic Apartment Complex overlooking James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, tapped Omega Contracting & Consulting for their apartment renovations. Although Omega was contracted to update the entire Amenity Center, the main project was to create an open concept in their fitness center. This was accomplished by tearing down the wall between the underutilized movie theater and the yoga studio and removing the yoga studio’s floor. This dramatic alteration opened up the fitness center which delivered a modern and inviting feel.
In addition to the fitness center construction, the Omega team installed new flooring, paint, trim work, new lighting, and fixtures to the study rooms, business center, and lounge/game area.
Right-On FiberFlex Flooring Application in Apartment Community Maintenance Shop
Harborstone Maintenance Shop, Newport News, VA
Harborstone Maintenance Shop in Newport News, VA, needed a flooring upgrade. The flooring was worn with cracks and stains, and it was hard on employees’ feet and back from the hard concrete surface. As you can see in this commercial construction project gallery, we installed the new Right-On FiberFlex flooring, designed to be impact, abrasion, chemical, microbe, water, thermal resistant, and easier on the feet than concrete. Plus, the 20-year warranty is the best in the business.
Apartment Deck Removal and New Construction
Kensington Apartment Home Community, Boulder, Colorado
The Kensington Apartment Home Community in Boulder, Colorado, had a huge safety issue. The cantilevers supporting the apartment balconies were rotted beyond restoration.  The contract for this apartment renovation was to remove all 163 balconies and reconstruct new balconies using columns and corbels for structural support. In addition, we installed new windows, sliding glass doors, railings, trim, and siding that modernized their appearance as seen in this commercial construction project gallery,
Apartment Community Leasing Center Renovation
This project takeover of the leasing office remodel at the Villages of Morgan Metro in Landover, MD, was over budget and behind schedule by 9 months when management hired Omega Contracting to rescue and complete the construction. Although over 4 months of unfinished work remained for this apartment renovation, Omega came in on budget after just two months.
Community-Wide Apartment Renovations
This Baltimore, MD apartment renovation included over 50 units total. All bathrooms and kitchens received new appliances, countertops, sinks, tile, laminate flooring, fixtures, and paint. All living areas received fresh paint, carpet, and fixtures.
